Localisation of events and checks
eControl offers you the opportunity to record location information for eForms and routine checks using web-based data record options and also mobile data record. This location information supplements the documentation and can be subjected to statistical analysis. Locations are recorded with points and areas with polygons. Maps may change over time - eControl always supplies you with precisely the same map versions with which you were supplied for documentation purposes.
Map master data
eControl can be used to file map master data for all areas of the airport. Calibrations are ICAO-compliant and the WGS84 standard is applied. A convenient user interface is provided for the recording of calibrated maps - you determine the size and degree of detail of the map material yourself.
Analysis
Efficient dialogs are provided for the spatial analysis of location data. eControl can help you to identify accident black spots or carry out a similar space-related analysis accurately and in an instant.
The cartographic analyses can be provided with a grid which enables easy detection of frequency distributions in different areas.
By recording location information in compliance with WGS84 it can be projected onto any maps.
Location master data
Objects, including mapping, can be recorded using location master data. Selecting an object ensures that a point or an area is selected unambiguously, regardless of whether the entire apron or an individual runway centre-line light was specified.
eControl mobile
eControl mobile is a particularly convenient means of recording location information. With a single tap of the finger either the current position or any other position can be selected.
